Wayne T. Kosmerl

Council, Baradel, Kosmerl & Nolan, P.A. is deeply saddened by the passing of Firm Co-Founder, Wayne T. Kosmerl, who passed away on November 8, 2024 after a remarkable 52-year career in the legal profession. A revered leader at the firm, Wayne was instrumental in shaping the firm’s core values, success, and reputation over five decades of dedicated service.

During his distinguished career, Wayne built a reputation as a highly skilled attorney in condominium and homeowners association law, estate planning, business law, real estate and civil litigation. His unparalleled knowledge, combined with a deep commitment to justice and service, made him a trusted counselor to countless businesses, individuals, and organizations throughout the State of Maryland.

"As a mentor, colleague, and friend, he was a cornerstone of our firm. His contributions to the legal profession and his lasting influence on our firm will continue to inspire us for many years to come. Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Margie; his three daughters, Jen Gerety, Sarah (Kyle Davis) and Lizzie; his sister, Nancy Machamer; his nephews, Scott (Jocelyn) Machamer and Randy (Marcie) Machamer; and his in-laws, the Metzler family.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Wayne's life on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 11:30 am (visitation at 11:00 am) at Bay Area Community Church, 884 Chesterfield Rd. Annapolis MD 21401.
