James P. Nolan to be Honored at Two Events this November

Council, Baradel, Kosmerl & Nolan, P.A. is pleased to announce that partner James P. Nolan will be honored at two events this November.

The first event is the Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame & Awards Banquet on November 1st, 2017, where Jim will be inducted into the Chamber's Business Hall of Fame. The second event is the University of Baltimore School of Law Annual Awards Banquet on November 2nd, 2017, where Jim will be receiving the Dean's Award. He is a 1974 graduate of the law school.

Oberg. “These distinguished awards are a recognition of his long-standing commitment to improving the legal profession and his dedication to his community and clients." 

Jim has been and continues to be a leader in many bar, civic and business organizations. He currently serves as a Delegate in the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association. He is a member and Immediate Past Chair of the Board of the University of Baltimore Foundation and Board of Visitors and a member and Vice Chair of the Board of the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County. He is a Past President of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Foundation and the Maryland Institute for the Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers.  He is Past Chair of the Board of Severn School, a Past Co-Chair of the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, a past Chair of the Board of the Historic Annapolis Foundation and a former member of the Boards of the Annapolis Banking and Trust Company, the Annapolis Advisory Board of PNC Bank, the Annapolis Community Foundation and the Maryland Bar Foundation. He previously served as Managing Director of Council, Baradel, Kosmerl & Nolan, P.A. from 1987-2015.
