Council Baradel Elects Matthew J. Bernhardt as Director

Council Baradel is pleased to announce that Matthew J. Bernhardt has been elected as director of the firm effective January 1, 2019.

Matthew focuses his practice on plaintiff’s personal injury and domestic relations and has extensive trial experience in both civil and criminal defense matters. Matthew has been consistently nominated as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” and a What’s Up? Annapolis “Leading Lawyer.” 

Matthew graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Systems Engineering in 2005.  After completing two deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism as a Surface Warfare Officer, he returned to Annapolis to work in the Office of Admissions at the Naval Academy. Matthew left active duty to pursue his legal career and continues to serve as a Lieutenant Commander in the active Navy Reserves.
