September 25, 2024

Council Baradel is pleased to announce that James P. Nolan was inducted into The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County's 2024 Professional Advisor Recognition Society.

The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County created the Professional Advisor Recognition Society to acknowledge professional advisors for their commitment to the community and their work to support philanthropy and encourage charitable giving across Anne Arundel County.

"CFAAC provides an opportunity to help our entire community through private funding of organizations, which provide assistance to those in need,” Jim said. “Clients who are looking for ways to give back to our community cannot find a better philanthropic partner than CFAAC."

He previously served as Managing Partner of Council Baradel from 1987-2015.

Jim sees philanthropy as directly helping people in need and supporting the organizations that serve them. That’s why in addition to Jim’s extensive litigation and business experience, he has been a community leader in many bar, civic, and business organizations. He is current Chair of the Board of Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating and a past Chair of the Board at the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC), the University of Baltimore Foundation and Board of Visitors, Historic Annapolis Foundation, Severn School, and Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce.
